Featured Stamper...Paris in the Spring Time!
I love to participate in Featured Stamper on SCStoday was Pairs' day in the spotlight.
I cased this Card. I changed the color combo, Theme and Stamp Set. I realized I was running low on b-day cards so that's what I focused on today. I will defiantly mass produce this card as it's pretty easy to put together and I can change up the color combo. So what do you think?
The DP I used was from KI Memories Suprise Multi Stripe. I'm not sure if you can tell, but this paper has a shimmer to it...so it's super fun! I also used Iridescent Ice on the top of the cake to make it look like yummy frosting, copic marker for the shadowing, flower punch and drew drop in the center. Finished off with piercing tool and ribbon.
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I created alot this weekend and was able to get house work, exercise and shopping into my weekend, I would consider that a pretty eventful! I'm super excited about next week, because Wednesday will be the 1st day of Shop Hop. If you live in the NE Florida and you have not participated check out the details NE FL SHOPHOP. It's a great way to support the local stamp/scrap stores in your area...plus shopping for fun stuff and eligible to win prizes. Really is there anything better? Hehe...I'm looking forward to finding some great goodies!

Spring is in the air today!!
Ahhh, I can't even begin to tell you what a beautiful day we are having today. Yesterday was Stormy and a bit on the humid side. But today is just perfect...reminds me of a great California day! So with that I have a spring inspired card for you today. The spring bug must be growing like wildflowers because I've seen plenty of spring cards on SCS lately. I can't wait to start working on my easter projects!
This card was for the CC165 on SCS, broke out the good old faithful prisma pencils and Gamosol. I then stamped the polka dot on the pomegranate, added the sentiment, used versa mark on the saffron, sponged the edges and added the ribbon and here is the end result...
Thanks for stopping in, I'm excited about my new Inky adventures and can't wait to share new, old and exciting inky tips with the stamping world.
I'm off to get my exercise in for the day. I need to start training because I'm "considering" signing up for my 1st 1/2 Marathon. Ugh, I'm crazy I know it...but I think it will be worth it. I'll keep you posted once I actually agree. Hehe...(Any encouraging words or tips from any runners out there?)

Happy Friday!
Boy was my day a world wind, I'm officially on severance as our office is shutting down. It was a sad day to say goodbye to all the wonderful ppl I've worked with for the past couple of years. Anywho, on to the card...today is a birthday card for my Grandma. I wanted to make it fun, because she is still full of spunk.
Do you ever have a card that takes way too long? Well that was this card for me, I just couldn't seem to get things to fall into place. I think I fiddled with this card for over an hour...UGH! For the love of this hobby!
The image was colored in w/copic markers, then I used Red EP on the Spring Moss and sponged, Cake has Clear Effects for the icing.
Thanks for checking in, hope you have a Wonderful weekend. I will be spending mine with my Grandma and playing golf with the family. Happy Stamping!!

Stress Relief
Do you ever find stamping a Stress Relief? I know I can't be the only one...things have been a little on the stressful side lately. So whenever I can carve out a couple of hours to create I am a happy camper. A good friend lent me her "For Father" set...I love this country old style feel of this set and I hope my coloring accomplished the look. I was browsing blogs and came across Julie's JCC03 color challenge. I thought these colors would work well with the set...whatcha think?
Image was colored in with Copic Markers, BG was stamped with Flannel Plaid and used the spritzer tool over the imaged to give it an aged look.
Thanks for checking out my new inky blog! Happy Stamping, and remember to find a little time for yourself doing what ever makes you happy...life is too short to wish you could find the time for...
